Google Ads is packed with data, but which stats really matter? We'll break down the top four metrics to pay attention to and how to take action: Cost Per Click (CPC): This tells you on average what you're paying each time someone clicks your ad. CPC should be lower than your margins. Click-Through Rate (CTR): The percentage of impressions that result in clicks. Aim for 2% or higher through relevant targeting and compelling ad copy. Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): The total cost to acquire a new customer/lead. Set CPA caps for each campaign based on your customer value. Conversion Rate: The percentage of clicks that result in a desired goal like purchase. Continually optimize low performing ads to improve this. These 4 metrics should be your top focus. We would recommend setting targets for each based on your business goals then adjusting campaigns to achieve or surpass those targets. With diligent tracking, these metrics will guide you to huge leaps forward.
